I’m still in the same place I was July 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th. I quite comfortable just waiting to see what she does next.
What I like about Sarah Palin is that she seems to have the potential to be very bold and not be a “go along – get along” type. I am quite content having a very open mind on what she will or won’t do.
If you heard Newt’s speech a few weeks ago at the joint fund raiser for the NRCC & NRSC he stressed that we need leadership that will have the courage to take on the MSM, the Liberals, and the Republicans whose spending set up the 2006 & 2008 defeats.
I don’t know if Sarah Palin can approach that kind of leadership, that I think she may have the potential. We’ll see.
Cassy Fiano’s post today headlined: “The Media Won.” For me, that would be the worst possible outcome. As most conservative know, you can expect only more bad behavior if you reward bad behavior. The MSM will be very pleased if they really hounded Palin out of politics.
Reading Melissa Clouthier’s blog about Palin “hatred:”
My experience has overwhelming been people who “hate” her do so because they think she isn’t intelligent, and… certainly not smart enough to be VP. But I heard the exact same thing about GWB. I remember asking people in 2001 if they really thought someone could really be “dumb” and become a successful Governor of a state as large as Texas.
Most of the Republicans that I know, who believe that she’s “dumb, not “intelligent,” don’t spend anywhere near as much time reading and thinking about politics as I do, nor as anyone who is reading this blog does.
Informed people can certainly question her judgment, but to question her intellect seems pretty narrow minded to me.
Ever notice how some people seem to feel that “they are smart” when they’re tearing someone else down.
I know for sure that I am not smart enough to get elected to be a Governor.

After a minute or two, she’s still talking about millions of dollars to counter frivolous ethics suits.
Why does she keep pushing this when it’s not true?
The Anchorage Daily News report the costs of the suits @ $300,000
and that Palin had to reinburse the state because one or two of the investigations had merit.
Additionally, 2/3 of the money went into one complaint about the state trooper
and that one certainly wasn’t frivolous.
Fuster, You may be right. I haven’t read anything about the facts of the case – I don’t know. What I do believe is that I’m suspect of anything that is written about her by “most” MSM outlets, who I believe are “out to get her” because they don’t like her.
Why is anyone suing her about anything? Has anyone sued BHO with such venom?
I suspect there will be people sympathetic towards her who will start printing the “facts.” Perhaps you are correct.
